Maaydesh Foundation’s Arun Joshi was a regular visitor to this beloved gathering place in his childhood. Arun’s father, Shri Rajabhau Joshi, served as a board member and trustee from 1993 to 2003.

This renovation project will completely change the look and feel of the premises and bring modern amenities to the hall, sports grounds, admin section, and the gymnasium. The new hall will be ready to accommodate eighty in the audience. The hall will have the latest features like soundproofing, a new stage with light bars, and a full sound system, and a private green room with amenities. The hall will be name as “Rajabhau Joshi Sabhagruh”. The entire hall, admin section, green room will be air-conditioned.

The current badminton and Kabaddi courts will be refurbished with seating areas and new bathrooms. Maaydesh will also fabricate new safer stairs to go on the terrace. The goal is to bring the premises the needs of twenty first century so it can serve surrounding communities for various social activities.
