For many in the community, this place is more than just a hall or sports ground, it’s a space filled with memories, laughter, learning, and legacy. One of those memories belongs to Arun Joshi of Maaydesh Foundation, who grew up frequenting this very venue. His father, Shri Rajabhau Joshi, was a dedicated trustee here from 1993 to 2003, shaping its early years with vision and heart. Now, Maaydesh Foundation is bringing that same spirit into a bold new future.
The Hall – Reimagined and renamed as “Rajabhau Joshi Sabhagruh”, the new hall will feature, Seating for 80, Soundproofing and a full sound system, A professional stage with lighting, A private green room, Full air-conditioning throughout.
Sports Grounds – The badminton and Kabaddi courts are being upgraded with Better surfaces, Spectator seating, Modern bathrooms, and safer access to the terrace.
This isn’t just about bricks and paint. It’s about creating a vibrant, inclusive space where people can gather, perform, play, celebrate, and connect, just like they did in the past, only better.
By honoring Shri Rajabhau Joshi’s legacy, Maaydesh Foundation is investing in a stronger, smarter future for the entire neighbourhood.
